So this is the proper forum now? Time to repost my stuff then!

I think we should make a flag appropriate to our society name, one of the Royal Navy Ensigns.







These were used from 1707 to 1801


The white ensign is the Royal Navy flag, which could be flown by NOs while the blue one was used by certain organisations or territories associated with the United Kingdom, so for Privateers

AS for the red Ensign, wiki says here:
In 1674, a Royal Proclamation of Charles II confirmed that the Red Ensign was the appropriate flag to be worn by English merchant ships. The wording of the 1674 proclamation indicates that the flag was customarily being used by English merchantmen before that date.

So this would be the FT flag

which one do you like better. I personally prefer the first one.

I too like the first white ensign and the blue one. Very realistic and i like the idea of staying in context with history! From what i remember, El Greco had some flags that were quite good that he posted on the other forums. I'm not sure if we'd want to have a poll or what. I like the ones you have made though .

I agree I like these the ones el greco made were good but probably to complicated to be used in game

Had a thought on the traditional flags, the fact they are traditional probably means they were already added in game, and indeed a quick search of the first 24 pages of 268 total pages of already approved user content turned up these which are linked directly from the potbs site.

A quick trawl of the rejected flag content though turned up this beauty - I wonder why it was rejected ??!!

I very much like all those historical ones! Shame the Indy flag was rejected though.

The problem is that you can't buy someone elses submitted flag from the UC vendor in Jenny Bay. The flags are tradeable however.

They're tradeable items.

Ok I would like to vote for a flag but.......there is so many and people are talking about two pluss there seams no were to vote. Can I get a little more info pls. Maybe make a new post with the two flags with a vote option. But i dunno which two your talking about.
