Well I was kinda playing around in Photoshop so here's the result:

Gave it a try. Serpentin7

Tell me what you think and BE HONEST.

I can take quite a beating as I was just playing around.

Looks nice and its unique! Smile Don't know if they had dragons back then Razz Hehe I like it though, having a dragon on my sails would make me seem fearless.

without sounding to critical
i cant see this being accepted..though i could be wrong

the dragon is much to modern for a 17th century flag

i can see that on the blue one it lose's alot of its detail but still its modern

i think with a little bit of tweaking you've got the makings of a great flag
you just need to change the dragon Very Happy

perhaps an old Chinese stylised dragon might be more appropriate?

It's not a dragon >_>

It's a drawing of a serpent...

Ok, try this if possible:

Make the flag be full sized instead of a corner in the back top, keep the background and overlay the dragon.
You can either check images of the so called "Kraken" which lately Cap. Beaufort stated seeing.

You can also check other mythical creatures CLICKING HERE.

Apart from this, I like the dragon thingy.
Even tho it may not fit in the 1720's.
