Society Sail

After doing some thinking and reading the posts on the main forum about sails and flags i think we need to come up with a good basic sail that the society can use...

It may take a few weeks for it to be voted in but i thnk its better then none...
Something like just a red cross or the cross of malta...i dont know lol

But let me know what you think.

Absolutely, I think we should go with an ensign design (flag in top left corner and single solid colour) and have a symbol in the centre maybe an animal such as a 3 lion design.

My sail got approved... if the society wants it then I will give it to you

I'd personally say either just a simple ensign (e.g the FLS British Navy NPc's 'White Ensign' style one), or the Cross of St. George.

If you were going to use animals/symbols (like for example Lions, Unicorns, Tudor Rose etc) it should probably just be that symbol/animal to prevent it looking crowded which it may if you did an 'ensign-style' sail + animal/symbol.

Coat of arms of the UK might look good.

Problem with a coat of arms is the copywitre...
