Admiral Collister - HMS Surprise, 28 ('Stralsund' Frigate)
Admiral Fletcher - HMS Mars Bar, 30 ('Falcon' Frigate)
Vice Admiral Lockhart - HMS Terminus, 30 ('Falcon' Frigate)
Captain Hornblower - HMS Indefatigable, 30 ('Falcon' Frigate)
Captain Skyforger - HMS Harbringer, 30 ('Falcon' Frigate)
Captain LeMarc - HMS Revenge, 28 ('Stralsund' Frigate)

Rendevouz off Orleans. Engaged and destroyed two French trade convoys of eight sail. A total of 9 trade vessels, 6 escort vessels and a third-rate ship of the line were burned, sank or taken.

The two engagements were an awesome show of distinguished line sailing, expert gunnery and excellent seamanship. The first convoy, with the third-rate as one of the escorts, was destroyed in a drawn out combat, whereas the second, with no ship as heavy as a third-rate was completely annihilated within ten minutes.

Hats off gentlemen, and very good show indeed!

Indeed it was Captain Hamilton, and may I recommend the log off the Glorious Battle of Orleans as fair reading. Twas a truly magnificent battle, and it is more finely illustrated than this rather bland account. It ought be found here, I believe: https://royalnavy.forumotion.com/admiralty-logs-f16/the-glorious-battle-of-orleans-16-1-t103.htm
