Captain Lockhart - 'Postillionen' Frigate
Captain U. Paine - 'Postillionen' Frigate
Lieutenant M. Wolfe - 'Locust' Corvette

Rendevous off Bartica, cruised northwards to St. Johns, and disbanded in soundings off said port.

Sank 17 enemy sail, including one convoy of eight ships. All present distinguished themselves in line formation and succeeded in holding the line commendably. My special commendations to Captain U. Paine and Lieutenant M. Wolfe, as it was my first time sailing with them and they displayed true skill in battle. Captains Lockhart and Hornblower showed their usual high standards and I was equally impressed with both Lockhart's efficient withdrawal for repairs and return to combat, as Hornblower's indomitable persistence in keeping the line.
