Patrol Squadron 12/1

White Patrol Squadron:
Commodore Collister - HMS Citadel, 'Locust' Corvette
Captain Walker - HMS Discovery, Bermuda Sloop
Captain Hornblower - 'Postillionen' Frigate
Captain Eliblo - 'Postillionen' Frigate

Rendevouzed off Bartica and sailed northwards the gulf of Port of Spain. From there we continued westwards to Caracas. At which point we turned, sailed northeast for Bridgetown and then finally cruised northwards to St. John's. Upon reaching St. John's the squadron was disbanded.

Between Port of Spain, and Caracas, we burned, took or sank 4 Spanish trading vessels and 1 Spanish escort vessel.

Just off Caracas the squadron was briefly diminished to only the Commodore and Captain Walker as the other Captains sailed to refit. At which point a Spanish frigate and two heavy Spanish brigs were spotted to the northwest. A brief skirmish took place, but the squadron disengaged after only a few minutes.

With the squadron fully-sized again, we sailed northeast towards Bridgetown. On route from Bridgetown to St. John's we burned, took, or sank 1 French trading vessel, 1 French heavy frigate and 4 Pirate heavy frigates.
